The Kauld Freehold is the political state of the planet Capek and its colonies.
Government[]
The central governing body of the Freehold is a council of five Kauld known as the Shadak. Each member representing one of the five branches of the Kauld race. Every five years, the Shadak is dissolved and the citizens of the Freehold elect a new one.
Military[]
Widely considered to be a war-like and belligerent race, the Kauld have maintained a strong warrior tradition since the very dawn of their civilization.
Every male Kauld is required to go through three years of military service to become full citizens of the Freehold. Their Sun-Hawks, their Class-A Battle cruisers are fast, maneuverable and possess a considerable amount of firepower for their size and their Sky Serpents, were among their best fighter craft.
